Stellar ("we," "our," or "us"), a product of StarFlyVentures, respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Stellar mobile application ("App").

• Birth Data — Date, time, and place of birth, used to generate your natal chart and personalized astrological content.
• Partner Data — If provided, your partner's name and birth data to generate compatibility readings.

Automatically Collected Information:

• Usage Data — Anonymous analytics about how you interact with the App (screens viewed, features used, session duration) to improve our services.
• Device Information — Device type, operating system version, and app version for performance monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Location Data — Accessed only when you search for a birth location. We do not track your real-time location.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To generate personalized astrology readings, daily affirmations, and guided meditation content.
• To provide AI-powered chat responses based on your natal chart.
• To improve the App experience and develop new features.
• To send you notifications if you have opted in.
• To process subscriptions and manage your account.

3. AI-Powered Features

Stellar uses artificial intelligence (Google Gemini) to generate personalized readings, affirmations, and chat responses. When you use these features:

• Your birth chart data and relevant context are sent to AI services to generate responses.
• AI-generated content is for entertainment and personal development only and should not be considered professional advice.
• We do not use your data to train AI models.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption. We use Supabase for secure cloud data storage with row-level security policies. All data transmission is encrypted using TLS/SSL. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

6. Subscriptions & Payments

Subscriptions are billed and processed entirely through Apple's App Store. Stellar does not directly collect or store your payment information. You may manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your App Store account settings.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Delete your account and all associated data by contacting us at support@stellarapp.io or using the "Delete Account" feature in the App's Settings.
• Opt out of push notifications through your device settings or the App.
• Request a copy of your data in a portable format.

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what personal information is collected and the right to request deletion. If you are in the European Economic Area, you have rights under the GDPR including data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

8. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as you maintain an active account. If you delete your account, we will permanently delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

9. Children's Privacy

Stellar is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we learn that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes through the App or via email. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
